| Day 1 & 2 Flight & Arrival in Frankfurt
A morning panoramic city tour of Frankfurt heralds the
start of your Wine Tour of Europe. You then travel on
to the beautiful Rhine River Valley to Ruesheim.
Day 3 Rudesheim- Boppard – Koblenz- Rudesheim
Today you are taken on a guided tour of the Franz Kunger
Cellars followed by a wine tasting. You then embark
on a lovely cruise on the Rhine to picturesque Boppard
and a brief visit to Koblenz.
Day 4 Cochem – Trier - Luxembourg
You morning begins with a stop in Cochem, a truly lovely
town on the Moselle River. Then on to Trier with its
historic Roman Amphitheater and Kaiser Baths. Later
that evening you cross the border to Luxembourg.
Day 5 Luxembourg - Reims
A guided tour of the city reveals the grand European
Center. Into Reims the center of France’s champagne
region.
Day 6 Reims – Epernay
Features of the city tour include a visit to the exquisite
Gothic Cathedral, Notre Dame de Reims and Tau Palace,
(Cathedral Museum). In the afternoon you will be taken
on a guided tour of the Moet & Chandon cellars,
in Epernay, followed by wine tasting and a tour of the
vineyards.
Day 7 Chablis Area
A scenic drive to the Chablis area is followed in the
afternoon you will be taken to the vineyards of W. Fevre
for a guided tour and wine tasting.
Day 8 Vezelay – Dijon – Geneva
A morning departure takes you to charming Vezelay and
a visit to its stunning Cathedral. You move on to Dijon,
along with a tour of the city, hightlights include a
fascinating tour of the History of Burgundy Museum.
Day 9 Lausanne – Geneva
Arriving in Lausanne you will visit the Olympic Museum
and take a walking tour of the old town. Highlights
include the magnificent Cathedral and the University
of Lausanne.
Day 10 Chamonix – Mont Blanc - Turin
You will leave for Chamonix passing through the Mont
Blanc tunnel on the way to Italy.
Arriving in Turin you will have a panoramic city tour
which features the Royal Palace, Madama Palace and the
Cittadella area. You will travel to the Roman area to
view the famous Shroud of Turin in the Duomo. You continue
on to the Mole Antonelliana ( the symbol of Turin) followed
by a visit to the Medieval Town.
Day 11 Turin – Langhe - Milan
This morning you embark on a visit to the impressive
wine region of Langhe. Included is a visit to a local
vineyard followed by a wine tasting. You then continue
on to Milan.
Day 12 & 13 Milan – Como - Milan
You take a walking tour of the city from the famous
Scala Theater to the beautiful Duomo. You travel on
to Sforza Castle visiting local attractions along the
way. Then continue on to Como for a city tour and boat
trip on beautiful Lake Como. On return to Milan, your
day ends with a farewell dinner at the hotel. Transfer
to airport for flight home |
